New Motorized Halo System

Camera Rigs
New Release
The Halo System is Division’s new motorized 360° lazy susan and overhead rotation system, developed in collaboration with KFX Technology. Built around modular truss, Halo gives productions a controlled way to create repeatable circular movement for cameras, lights, and practical effects.
At its core, Halo is designed for precision rotational movement. The system allows crews to start, stop, and repeat a move with consistency, making it useful for shots where timing, position, and repeatability matter. Whether you need a camera to orbit a stationary subject, a light to travel around a performer, or an effect to hit a specific moment in frame, Halo gives the move a controlled path instead of relying on a manual push.
That repeatability is especially useful for motion-control-style work. When a shot needs a clear start frame and end frame, or when multiple takes need to line up, Halo helps make the move happen the same way each time.

Two Primary Configurations
The Halo System can be built in two main configurations depending on the needs of the shot.
In the lazy susan platform configuration, Halo uses a center post with a stationary platform on top. The platform stays fixed while the arm rotates around it. The center platform can support a person, product, object, scenic element, or custom build, while the end of the rotating arm carries a camera, light, or practical effect.
Halo can also be used as an overhead 360° rig without the center column and platform. In this setup, the rotating arm moves through a circular path overhead, carrying a camera, light, or effect. Since there is no center platform in this configuration, it is commonly mounted from equipment capable of supporting the system and its load, such as a telehandler.
This gives crews the flexibility to use Halo either as a fixed-center lazy susan system or as an overhead 360° spinning rig.
Built Around Modular Truss
Halo is designed to integrate directly with modular truss systems. It features the same bolt pattern as 6" modular truss, allowing it to connect cleanly into 6" modular truss builds. It also integrates with M36FX and M3FX truss, giving crews multiple ways to configure the system around the needs of the shot.
The top and bottom of the Halo are built from steel plates, giving the system a strong mounting foundation. The bottom plate includes multiple threaded hole options, allowing the unit to be mounted upside down for overhead 360° rigs or fitted with leveling feet for ground-supported setups.
In the lazy susan configuration, the 6" modular truss center post can support a range of stationary platform builds, from compact 2' x 2' setups up to larger 4' x 8' platform configurations, depending on the needs of the production.
Where Halo Works Best
Halo is built for jobs where controlled circular movement is part of the shot.
For commercials, it can be used for product orbits, tabletop setups, beauty work, and polished repeatable camera moves. For music videos, it can create stylized circular camera movement, rotating light effects, and performance-based motion. For film work, it gives crews a practical way to execute motion-control-style shots where the camera, light, or effect needs to hit the same mark more than once.
The system is not just about spinning something. It is about control — starting the move when needed, stopping where the shot demands, and repeating that motion take after take.
